         PREPARATION

-First step
Preheat the oven to 400 °

Form four balls of dough, using approximately an cup of dough for each. Place each ball on a plastic wrap and form two inch by four inch thick circles.

-third step
Heat the oil in a ten-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook them four minutes on each side or until dark spots appear on both sides.

-fourth step
Pass them to a tray or baking tray and bake for 20 minutes or until they are fully cooked and you hear a hollow sound when you hit them.

-fifth step
Meanwhile, mix the ingredients for the chicken filling. Cut the arepas vertically to fill them but not completely in half. To serve, fill each one with two cup of filling.

            RECIPE OF AREPA RELLLENAS

INGREDIENTS:

   AREPAS

-one cup of precooked white corn flour (flour dough) for arepas
